Teratec Construction Report: School

Solving problems at school! Introducing "TerraTech" construction examples for settlement correction and void filling.

We would like to introduce a case where we solved problems caused by subsidence and voids at a school using the Teratec method. 【Problem】 We received a consultation from a junior high school in Yamagata Prefecture stating, "The classroom floor is sagging, and the desks are wobbling." Upon investigation, it was confirmed that voids were present under the floors in six classrooms due to long-term ground subsidence. 【Reason for Choosing Teratec】 It was believed that the methods to address ground subsidence of concrete floors were either to redo the flooring or to apply a topping and adjust the level. However, considering the time required for moving, demolition work, and the curing period after concrete pouring, it was determined that the construction would take more than a month, making it difficult to complete during the summer vacation. Therefore, the Teratec method was adopted. 【Feedback After Construction】 By utilizing the summer vacation period to implement this method, we were able to completely eliminate the wobbling of desks and chairs. *For more details, please visit the external link page or feel free to contact us. https://teretek.jp/plus/case/school Toll-free number: 0120-873-835

[Construction Example] Bag Manufacturing Factory in Miyagi Prefecture

We will introduce a case of a bag manufacturing factory that sank due to ground subsidence and the impact of an earthquake!

We would like to introduce a case study of floor sinking correction work and subfloor void filling work carried out at a bag manufacturing factory located in Miyagi Prefecture. The neatly arranged bag-making machines were tilted due to floor sinking, which hindered production. As a temporary measure, legs (for height adjustment) were installed under the machines to level them, allowing work to continue. Consequently, we received a request for correction from the company, as we can quickly make adjustments without removing the machines, and we proceeded with the work. In addition to the floor sinking, voids were also observed under the floor, so we carried out the filling work as well. [Case Study] ■ Construction Area: Approximately 730m² ■ Maximum Sinking Amount: Approximately 110mm ■ Construction Period: 3 days *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Teratec Construction Report: Factory

Solving your factory problems! Introducing "TerraTech" case studies for subsidence correction and void filling.

We would like to introduce a case where problems caused by subsidence and voids in a factory were resolved by Teratech. [Problem] In a steel processing factory located in Ibaraki Prefecture, the concrete floor sank by about 3.4 cm. Although the factory had not been in operation for long, subsidence occurred, causing issues with the laser processing machine purchased for steel processing, which could no longer operate according to the specifications. For precision machines like laser processing machines, having a level floor is crucial for normal operation. [Reasons for Choosing Teratech] - Work can be carried out without stopping operations. - The work can be completed in a short time. [Feedback After Construction] "We were planning to readjust the level of the laser processing machine after this construction, but the floor correction was done so well beyond our expectations that the processing machine is now operating normally. We were very relieved that the planned budget of 1 million yen for the laser level adjustment was no longer necessary," we received words of gratitude. In addition, we also introduce resolution cases from packaging material manufacturing factories. *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example] Bag Manufacturing Factory: Floor Slab Settlement Correction Work and Underfloor Void Filling Work

The machine's level cannot be secured, and spacers are being used. A malfunction has occurred in the machine, affecting product accuracy. This can be resolved with the up-con method.

This time, we will introduce a case study of a bag manufacturing factory in Miyagi Prefecture. Due to the impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred in March 2011, the floor sank, causing the machines to tilt and hindering production. The Upcon method was adopted because it allows for quick corrections without moving the machines. "We cannot secure the level of the machines and are using spacers." "Malfunctions have occurred in the machines, affecting product accuracy." We receive many inquiries about floor repairs like these at Upcon every day. The feature of the Upcon method is that it can correct floor subsidence in a short time, but another significant advantage is that it does not require the movement of machines or materials for construction. [Site Information] Miyagi Prefecture, Bag Manufacturing Factory Construction Area: Approximately 730 square meters Maximum Subsidence: 111mm Construction Period: 3 days For more details about the construction process, you can view it by downloading the PDF below.

[Construction Case] Metal Processing Factory: Floor Slab Settlement Correction Work and Deflection Correction Work

A case where the floor of the corridor in the factory sagged and gaps appeared! Introducing an example of how it was fixed in one day without stopping operations.

We would like to introduce a case of "floor sinking correction work and deflection correction work" conducted at a metal processing factory in Fukuoka Prefecture. Due to ground subsidence over time, the floor of the corridor inside the factory sagged, creating gaps between the walls and the floor. To address the floor sagging and eliminate the gaps between the walls and the floor, subsidence correction work was carried out. After the work was completed, the areas that had sunk by up to 72mm, including the maximum subsidence location, were corrected to within management values, and the gaps that had formed between the walls and the floor due to subsidence were also eliminated. 【Case Overview】 ■ Construction Area: 114m2 ■ Construction Period: 1 day ■ Maximum Subsidence: 72mm ■ Area: Fukuoka Prefecture *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Case] Packaging Material Factory: Floor Slab Settlement Correction Work

To a factory that produces packaging materials such as cardboard! Introducing examples of subsidence correction work.

Here is an example of "floor sinking correction work" carried out at a packaging materials factory in South Korea. With ground subsidence, the concrete floor also sank, causing the stacked cardboard and other materials in the factory to tilt, which hindered operations. We performed polyurethane resin injection work, continuously checking the level while correcting the sinking. The correction was completed in 4 days with one construction plant vehicle. 【Case Overview】 ■ Construction Area: Approximately 360m2 ■ Location: Incheon, South Korea ■ Construction Period: 4 days *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
